Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Husky / Lab Mix

Personality & Vibe:
Pong is a smart, independent, and playful young pup looking for her perfect match! True to her Cattle Dog and Husky roots, she is intelligent, perceptive, and loves having room to run. Pong isn't a needy or "Velcro" dog-she isn't big on cuddles or physical affection, but she thoroughly enjoys being in the same room, keeping you company, and hanging out nearby while you go about your day.

Energy & Play Style:
Pong sits right at a medium energy level. She loves her daily neighborhood walks, zooming around a fenced yard, and playing active games. When it comes to playtime, she is physical and mouthy-her Herding instincts come out, and she tends to play-nip when excited. Because she doesn't realize her own play style can be too rough, and because she isn't interested in pets or snuggles from little ones, a home with adults or savvy teenagers is required. She gets along great with other dogs, and is currently learning how to be around a cat in her foster home.

Skills & House Manners:
House Skills: Fully house-trained and smart enough to ring a bell by the door when she needs to go out! She prefers free roaming the house over being crated and handles it responsibly.
Commands: Exceptionally bright and eager to learn-she already knows sit, come, drop it, and place.
Leash Manners: Easygoing on a leash, though she'd do best with a handler willing to continue polishing her walking manners.

The Dream Home
Pong will thrive with an active individual, couple, or family with older kids who appreciate an independent companion. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard with space to stretch her legs, but it is not required as long as she gets the exercise she needs. She would also love an adopter who enjoys continuing her training, understands her herding heritage, and respects her desire for personal space.
