Meet Ricky!!

Ricky is an owner surrender thru no fault of his own. Ricky is a Maltese mix that is a little is shy and cautious when meeting new people but has gained confidence from being in a foster home. He's good with the other small dogs at his home and has become playful!

We do not know what he thinks of cats but is an avid bird and squirrel watcher. Given that Ricky is still needing some time to warm up to new people, a home with older children or no children may be best for him. He is doing well with going outside to potty but will also use potty pads if needed. He walks well on a leash but would love a home with a fenced yard where he can explore safely. Ricky can be quite vocal, so shared walls would not be the best fit for him. He does kennel at night in his foster home.
