Adoption Fees
$350: Puppies (up to 6 months)
$200: Dogs age 6 months – 7 years
$350: Bonded Buddies (6 months – 8 years)
$125: Senior dogs (age 8+)
$200: Senior Bonded Buddies (8+ yrs)
$60: Adult Cats (6 months and older)
Fee includes current vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip w/registration for all animals. Additionally, all adult dogs will be tested for heartworm and all adult cats will be tested for Feline Leukemia.
All animals adopted from AHeinz57 are subject to spaying/neutering in accordance with Iowa law. Therefore, all animals will be altered prior to adoption.
Please Remember…
Any pet that you are considering making part of your family – whether it is from an animal shelter or from a rescue organization, is transitioning from the place that he/she called home. This transition time is a very stressful time for any pet. They are in unfamiliar surroundings with people that they do not know. Some animals adjust very quickly. For some, it might take as long as 4 to 6 weeks to adjust to their new surroundings. We are looking for people who are willing to make a lifelong commitment.. If life circumstances require you to return your pet, please note that bonded buddies MUST be returned together.
Please consider adoption very carefully. Be sure to talk it over with every member of your family. A surprise pet does not make a good gift. Your new pet can be a 10+ year commitment so make sure that every member of the family is prepared to make such a commitment.
