Sasha

Well hello there Sasha!

Sasha is a beautiful young hound mix with a heart full of love, a nose made for adventure, and a whole lot of affection to give!

After raising a litter of adorable puppies and watching every one of them find their forever homes, this sweet mama has just one question... "Okay, but when is it MY turn?"

Sasha came to AHeinz57 with her brothers, Flint and Flapjack, after living among many other dogs. We believe much of her previous life was spent outdoors, but after experiencing the comforts of a foster home, Sasha has decided that indoor living is definitely her style!

AmSasha LOVES people! She's a social butterfly who happily welcomes new friends, including children! She's shown a wonderfully gentle side around little ones, although she occasionally forgets that not everyone is expecting one of her enthusiastic Sasha hugs!

She's also a sweetheart with other dogs and enjoys making friends in our on-site playgroups.

Like any good hound, Sasha has a curious nose that occasionally leads her into a little mischief. During her time in foster care, she learned that nighttime was best spent safely tucked into her kennel. While she wasn't always eager to go in, she settled down nicely once inside and slept through the night.

Sasha also has a little musical talent! Every now and then, she'll treat you to one of her signature hound songs. She's not particularly concerned about whether anyone requested a performance, so a home without shared walls would be ideal!

She's continuing to work on her leash manners and basic skills, and she's making progress! Sasha would love a family willing to offer a little patience, gentle guidance, and plenty of encouragement as she continues learning what it means to be someone's beloved family dog.

One little request from Sasha: No cats or farm animals, please! Her hound instincts make those particular roommates a little too exciting.

What makes Sasha so special isn't just her beautiful face or those lovable hound ears. It's her incredibly sweet nature, her love for people, and the way she seems so ready to embrace a life where she's the one being loved and spoiled.

She's raised her babies. She's watched them find their families. Now it's Sasha's turn to be somebody's baby.
