Journey

Journey is a sassy, smart and spirited Husky mix who's still learning to trust the world around him. He's got that classic Husky attitude - vocal, opinionated and mouthy - but underneath it all, he's a sweet guy who just needs the right person to help him feel safe and loved, but one that can also help teach him right from wrong.

Journey came to us from a hoarding situation, so he's still figuring out how to interact with people and other animals. Because of this, he would love a home where he can be the main focus, so a home without other pets and children would be best. Slow introductions to all household members would be needed before going to his new home and he would even benefit greatly with professional training after adoption.

Because Journey is very vocal, a home without shared walls would be the best fit for him. He would still need to learn trust when being leashed, so he would also do best in a home with a fenced in yard. He is incredibly smart and treat-motivated, so treats are a fast way to his heart. After he trusts you, proper training won't be too difficult. We aren't quite sure if he is house trained, but he does keep his kennel clean!

If you are interested in making him apart of your family, you can come and meet him in one of our playrooms or fill out an application online.
