JD

JD is a sweet, smiley boy with a loving personality and a gentle heart. After spending most of his life living outdoors alongside his sister, Cary, he's now learning all about the comforts of living indoors. JD and Cary share a very special bond and absolutely love playing together. While they would love to find a home together, it is not a requirement, and JD is ready to find the perfect family of his own if needed.

Because he spent much of his life outside, JD is still learning some of the basics of indoor living. He's making great progress with potty training and is getting the hang of doing his business outside. He's also learning to walk on a leash. It was a little scary for him at first, but with patience and encouragement, he's becoming more comfortable every day.

For JD's safety and comfort, we are requiring a securely fenced yard in his adoptive home. Having a safe outdoor space helps him feel confident as he continues adjusting to life as a beloved family pet.

JD appears to do well with other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Prior to adoption, he will need to meet all human and furry family members to make sure everyone is a good fit. We have not had the opportunity to see how JD interacts with children, and we do not have any information about how he does with cats.

One of JD's favorite things in the world is being brushed-he soaks up the attention and loves every minute of it!
