Meet Huckleberry!
If you're looking for a big, lovable companion with a heart to match his size, Huckleberry might be your perfect guy! This sweet boy is all about affection, and one of his favorite things in the world is a good butt scratch. Give him some attention, and you'll quickly see just how loving and gentle he is.

Huckleberry is a calm and well-mannered resident at the rescue. He keeps his kennel clean, isn't destructive, and is perfectly content lounging on his bed while watching the world go by. He has an easygoing nature that makes him a pleasure to be around.

When he's out in the play runs, Huckleberry can be a little vocal when he'd like another dog to come run and play with him. However, we haven't had the opportunity to thoroughly test him with other dogs yet, so any canine siblings will need to meet him before adoption. We are also unsure how he does with cats or children at this time. As with all of our dogs, Huckleberry must meet all human and furry family members prior to adoption to ensure it's a great fit for everyone.

Huckleberry already knows how to walk nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out for walks. Like many enthusiastic dogs, he may pull occasionally when he gets excited, but overall he does very well.
