Brother Darryl

Brother Darryl came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his life before arriving at the rescue. What we do know is that he's a sweet, gentle boy who is ready to find a loving home of his own.

Brother Darryl tends to take his cues from his brother, Darryl, and is a little more reserved when meeting new people or exploring new situations. While Darryl is usually the first one to jump in and say hello, Brother Darryl prefers to hang back, take everything in, and make sure he's comfortable before joining the fun. Once he warms up, though, his friendly personality starts to shine.

The brothers walk well on leash together, with Brother Darryl happily following Darryl's lead. In the outdoor runs, they'll spend a little time playing before wandering off to investigate on their own. They're both good boys who keep their kennels clean-aside from the impressive amount of fur they leave behind! Brother Darryl also comes when called and enjoys spending time with the people who care for him.

Brother Darryl would thrive with a patient family willing to give him a little time to settle in and build confidence. In return, you'll gain a loyal, sweet companion who just wants to feel safe and loved.

As with all adoptions, meet and greets are required for all household residents-both human and furry-to help ensure the best match for everyone. If you are interested in meeting Brother Darryl, please fill out an application on our website or stop by the rescue for a meet and greet!
