Magnolia

Magnolia is a 3 year old Australian cattle dog mix that is a bundle of love and playfulness! She hasn't met a person she doesn't like! She loves to snuggle with her people but is also ready to play whenever you are. Fetch is a favorite game and she loves chewing on bones and playing with stuffies. Running with her foster dad and walks are also favorite activities.

Magnolia is house trained, knows sit and is kennel trained. She is a bit of a puller on walks and likes to bark at other dogs so she would benefit from continued training. Magnolia is picky about the dogs she likes to meet and potential fur siblings must match her energy level. As with all adoptions, Magnolia will need to a meet-and-greet with everyone in the household-both human and furry- to help ensure a good fit. She does do well with her foster cat friend too!

Magnolia does really well in the house when people are home but when she's by herself, sometimes her mischievous side comes out and she plays with things that aren't hers. She also has an adventurous side and will occasionally try to bolt out the door if given the opportunity. When Magnolia gets excited, her herding instincts kick in and and she will sometimes give gentle nips and will jump up. For this reason, a household with older kids would be best.

If you are looking for a companion who is loving, cuddly, smart and ready to play, then Magnolia is ready to meet you!
