🐾 Meet Rusty! 🐾
Rusty is a handsome 2-month-old Lab mix with the sweetest eyes and a heart that's just beginning to blossom. This adorable little guy is looking for a patient, loving family to help him continue building his confidence and discovering how wonderful life can be.
Rusty is great with other dogs and takes comfort in having canine friends around. He sleeps through the night like a champ in his kennel and is already proving to be a very good boy. He's also working hard on potty training.
While Rusty can be a little shy at first, he is learning to trust and comes out of his shell more with gentle encouragement, love, and consistency. Watching him gain confidence and show his playful puppy personality is incredibly rewarding.
Like all puppies, Rusty loves toys, exploring new things, and spending time with his people. With continued training, socialization, and lots of cuddles, he will grow into a wonderful companion.
If you're looking for a sweet puppy who just needs a little extra love to shine, Rusty might be your perfect match. ??

This puppy will be adopted through our Foster-to-Adopt program until they are spayed/neutered by our veterinarian. Participation in this program requires that he/she be returned to our rescue for their spay/neuter procedure once surgery appointments become available.
Because of this requirement, we are currently limiting applicants to those who live within 60 miles of our rescue in De Soto to ensure timely scheduling and coordination. Our veterinary team has been extremely busy completing these procedures, and when surgery appointments open, we often need to act quickly. Coordinating returns from longer distances has proven to be challenging.
To determine whether a dog has been spayed or neutered, please visit the dog's profile on our website. Once the procedure has been completed, the profile will display "Spayed/Neutered" with a checkmark next to that designation. This notation will not appear until surgery is complete.
