Jeffrey

Meet Jeffrey! The Boy with the Ears and Personality You'll Never Forget!

Jeffrey is a 1-year-old Lab mix with legs for days, ears with minds of their own, and a personality that could make even the grumpiest person smile!

If Jeffrey were a human kid, he'd be that boy on the playground who is always grinning, always ready for the next adventure, and absolutely convinced that EVERYONE is his new best friend!

This happy-go-lucky goofball has never met a stranger he didn't want to befriend. He is an affectionate boy who enjoys being close to his people and isn't shy about showing you just how happy he is to see you! He's a big believer in full-body hugs, enthusiastic affection, and prolonged eye contact... (Is he gazing lovingly into your soul or trying to convince you that playtime isn't over?) Probably both!

But don't let those ridiculous ears fool you! He has brains to go with his good looks! He's eager to learn, treat motivated, and already knows sit, down, and other basic commands. He's basically a straight-A student who is always ready for recess!

Jeffrey came to us as an unclaimed stray, but we're pretty sure he's destined to be someone's very bestest boy.

As with all our adoptables, a meet-and-greet with all family members (human and furry!) is required to make sure it's a great match.

Jeffrey is waiting at our Adoption Center in DeSoto, Iowa!

Come meet this long-legged, floppy-eared bundle of sunshine. Just be prepared...he may hug you before you even introduce yourself!
